Social and Recreational

Recreational activities are important for developing social and communication skills, which can improve a person’s ability to live and work in the community, and contribute to a successful and fulfilled life. The Arc of Delaware Recreation program provides opportunities in the community for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to socialize and have fun. Among other activities, our monthly dances are very popular and always draw a crowd.

For information about upcoming events please see the listing on our Events page.

2016 Sponsors

Many of our social and recreational activities would not be possible without the generous support of our community sponsors. We acknowledge and appreciate all that you do to help improve the lives of people with I/DD in Delaware!
