Save the date! The Mid-Del Committee is hosting two movie nights this summer, on Friday, June 14th and Friday, July 19th, at Wyoming U.M. Church. The movies to be shown are TBA – check back for updates.
Popcorn and soda provided. Please bring an item for the church food pantry. Suggested items are listed on the second page of the flyer.
Location: Wyoming U.M. Church, 216 Wyoming Mill Road, Dover
Use the South Entrance into the Family Life Center. PLEASE NOTE – The Wyoming Mill bridge will be under construction on or about June 24th, so you will need to enter Wyoming Mill Road at Hazletville Road for the July movie.

2013 Golf Tournament

The Arc of Delaware’s 21st Annual Golf Tournament and Silent Auction will be held on Monday, August 5, 2013, at Hartefeld National Golf Club, Avondale, PA, beginning with a shotgun start at 11:00 a.m.
Golf registration includes greens fee, cart, range balls, gift package, lunch, awards dinner and silent auction. This year we are, once again, honored to have Tubby Raymond as our Celebrity Host.

The Arc of Delaware Remembers
On Saturday, April 20th, the Mid-Del Committee of The Arc of Delaware hosted its 13th Annual 5K Run, Walk & Roll and 1 Mile Walk & Roll. The event was dedicated to the memory of Mary D. Horn, who graciously served the Mid-Del Committee for some 40 years, first as its office manager, and then upon her retirement as an active volunteer until her passing on February 4, 2013 at the age of 87.
All six of her children – Kathleen and her husband R. Christopher Spicer of Haddonfield, N.J., Sandra Hitchens of Wilmington, DE, Christine and husband Alexander Giacco of Wilmington, DE, Michael and wife Gloria Horn of Dover, J. Scott and wife Joann Horn of Vorhees, N.J., and Jeffrey Horn of Dover – along with their families and many Arc staff joined together as “Team Mary” to celebrate her life and legacy at this event.
Mary was an integral part of The Arc and is sorely missed. Though she was not physically with us at the event, her contributions will remain forever.
