14th Annual Run/Walk

Advocates for People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Run, Walk & Roll at Wild Quail

The Mid-Del Committee of The Arc of Delaware held their 14th Annual Run, Walk & Roll at Wild Quail Country Club on Saturday, May 3rd.  More than 150 supporters walked, ran and rolled the 5K and 1 mile courses.

The event is the largest annual fundraiser for the Mid-Del Committee of The Arc. This year also marks The Arc of Delaware’s 60th Anniversary.

Notable participants included Tony DeSanctis, organizer of Team DeSanctis, who has raised more than $30,000 through his team’s participation in this event over the past seven years.  Managers and office staff of Team McDonald’s – Sanders Management Corporation also joined the walk.

Team Brian Jordan included more than 30 relatives and friends of Brian Jordan who celebrated his memory and his work for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Jordan was a long-time friend of The Arc and his presence is sorely missed.

Other participating teams included Team Hidden Acres and Team Westside Carwash.
